Is Brake-Lite Relay Required for 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Wiring Connection to Motorhome?
Question:
Hello: Is the RM-88400 necessary if I already have the cable for my brake lights on my 2018 Jeep JK. In the past the connection from my Motorhome when the motorhomes brakes were applied the brake lights would come on, I assume they still will with the BLU37TR Patriot Braking system installed. Just wondering if it is necessary to put in the RM-88400? Thank you.

On your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR will work well and will not require the Brake Light Relay # RM-88400 you asked about. You will however need a separate power outlet for the braking system so I recommend using # RM-9332.
