Can Radio in 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler be Connected to Constant Power When Flat Towing
Question:
I have a 2007 jeep jk wrangler, how can someone wire the radio to keep from having to reset clock and preset settings every time you operate the disconnect switch

Expert Reply:
To keep from having to reset all of the presets on your 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler when disconnecting the battery via the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 while flat towing you would need to connect the power from your radio directly to the battery.
If you were to do this then it would also be beneficial to use the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and wire the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 from the battery in your Jeep to the center pin on the socket. This will help keep your battery from draining while you are flat towing.
Just be mindful that when you aren't flat towing the radio will constantly be draining your battery.
