Installing Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack on 2018 Nissan Rogue
Question:
I have a 2018 Nissan Rogue SV that I am wanting to sport up. Would the 50inch help with that? Also, I plan on keeping this car forever, so will the rubber dry out that helps tighten the bar to the rail? I live in the south with hot, humid conditions. I am also putting on running boards so can you suggest about where I should mount my bars on the roof so I dont put my eye out? o

The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 that you referenced is a great way to sport up your 2018 Nissan Rogue. These sleek aerodynamic bars will attach right to the factory side rails on your Rogue to provide you with both an aesthetically pleasing and functional system. I have not heard of any issues with the rubber wearing down or drying out over time. Also keep in mind that the rack does come with a limited lifetime warranty.
When installing the crossbars you just want to make sure you have a spread of at least 27-1/2 inches between them, on center. As long as you maintain the needed spread you can slide the bars back or forward on the Rogue so they don't serve as potential eye or forehead obstacles when utilizing your running boards.
I will say though that with the 50 inch bars you really shouldn't have an issue with this, as they won't be extending much at all beyond the mounting feet. I have attached an image of this exact system installed on the 2018 Nissan Rogue that you can use for reference.
