Troubleshooting Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller
Question:
when i push the brake pedal the light the tekonsha voyager turns real fast to red then no light at all when the pedal is held i dont know what to do . P.s could it be power feed back on the blue wire ive heard it but i dont know what it means

As a starting point, I would suggest reviewing the install instructions, especially the section about leveling the controller. The Voyager is pretty sensitive about being leveled correctly.
As you mention, you could be experiencing a short on the brake output (blue) wire. The likely places to find a short are at the trailer connectors (both the vehicle and trailer side) and on the trailer itself.
First, start by examining the both halves of the trailer connector. Check for green or white corrosion on the sockets and pins of the connectors. If you find corrosion, there is a good possibility that the corrosion has spread to the interior terminals of the connector. If this occurs, and the corrosion becomes severe enough, it can cause a short. Trace the blue wire from the connector on the trailer back to the brake assemblies. Look for breaks in the wire, or cracked or worn wire insulation. Make sure that the connections at each brake magnet are secure.
