Recommended Fixed Supplemental Braking System for a 2017 GMC Terrain
Question:
I've got everything I need to tow my Terrain behimd my Tiffin Alegro except the braking system. I see a lot of recommendations for removable systems but I don't want to set up it up each time I tow. Which is easiest to set up when I want to drive my car?

I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO, part # SM99251. It's a permanently installed braking system, like you're looking for, so all you need to do is flip a switch to activate it when you're ready to tow.
Instead of using a cylinder and bracket that pushes your Terrain's brake pedal the DUO's actuating cylinder mounts to the brake pedal arm and connects to the firewall. The actuator doesn't get in the way and doesn't need to be removed or unhooked at all. Just flip the switch back off and you're ready to drive.
I've linked an install video in an older Terrain for you to take a look at so you can get a visual of the DUO.
