How is Rise Defined with a Ball Mount
Question:
Hello The description indicates the unit is capable of an 11 inch rise. Does this mean the unit can be flipped over and have the mounting ball approximately 11 inch above the centerline of the receiver on the truck? Thanks

In regards to ball mounts such as the Flash Solid Steel Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # FA49-00-5900, rise is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball mount platform when oriented for rise (please see accompanying photos).
The Flash Solid Steel Adjustable 2-Ball Mount has a maximum rise of 11 inches, as you said, and maximum drop of 10 inches. I highly recommend using the Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set for 2" Flash Solid Steel Adjustable Ball Mounts # FA86-00-4200 to secure both the ball mount and the ball platform for added security.
I have added links to video reviews of both the ball mount and locks as well as a help article on rise and drop and how to measure for it which I recommend checking out.
