Question:

New RVer here. i need rails for my 2004 F250 with 8 ft. bed that will also fit a hitch made by RBW industries, model number LR 1000. Should my truck already have under bed connectors for the rails to connect to?

We do have 5th wheel base rails that are compatible with your RBW Lil Rocker LR1000 and will fit your 2004 Ford F-250 with the 8' bed. Your specific 5th wheel hitch is compatible with industry standard rails (ISR) but you will need the whole kit as you won't have connectors (also known as brackets) under your pickup bed.

I recommend installing the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit # RP50082-58 because it doesn't require drilling into the frame of your F-250 for the installation. It simply mounts using pre-existing bolt holes as you can see from the attached photo.

We also have the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP30035 which is a more cost-effective option but it does require that you drill into the frame of your F-250. I have attached the installation instructions for both base rail options that you can reference.

If you don't already have a 7-Way connector located in the bed of your F-250 then I also recommend installing the Curt item # C56000. This tees into the Car Connector behind your current 7-Way and allows you to mount an additional 7-Way in the bed of your pickup for easier connecting/disconnecting of your trailer connector. A sample installation video has been attached for this as well.
