My jayco 28.5 rsts is 29 and a half inches wide . So what size fits . It’s a fifth wheel

I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he said that for your 29-1/2 inch wide doorway on your Jayco 5th Wheel the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC791574 will work perfectly. This assembly is designed for trailer/RV doorways that measure 26 to 29-7/8 inches wide and will lock in place and stow inside when not in use.

I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions for the Lippert SolidStep part #LC791574 that you referenced. Basically as long as you have room for the step assembly they get drilled on with self-tapping screws.

Most likely, yes, the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps #LC791574 would fit without removing the frame mounted steps under the entry door. Customers have done this before, see picture. I have included a link to a video review of these steps for you.
