Will the Kuat Transfer Bike Rack Allow Free-Swinging of the Wheel Hook When Folded?

I am concerned that the wheel hook would swing freely when in the folded position and possibly affect the paint/finish on our 2019 Buick Envision. Has this been addressed before? Any thoughts?

The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR you asked about will not allow the wheel hook to swing freely. The arm tension is adjustable so you can ensure that you won't have any issues. There will not be any contact with the vehicle.

I recommend measuring from the center of the hitch pin hole on your 2019 Buick Envision to the outermost part of the bumper. The closest part of the carrier when folded up is 6 inches from the center of that hitch pin hole.
