How Much Ground Clearance is Lost with the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver 13703
Question:
How far below the c-frame will this hang or how much will the ground clearance be reduced?

If you are referring to the lowest point then that would be the bottom of the frame bracket and if the horizontal section of this bracket was placed directly up against the bottom of the frame rail then it would stick down around 8" or so. However, if you are referring to the receiver tube opening then this will stick down around 5-1/2" assuming the horizontal section of the frame bracket is placed directly up against the bottom of the frame rail.
I have attached a photo to help with this as well. We also have the Ultra-Fab Steel Roller for RVs with 2" Trailer Hitches part # UF48-979020 which can prevent any scraping of the receiver tube opening.
