Comparing the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Harness C56070 and Hopkins 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Harness 41157
Question:
Thanks very much, Conner. The installation video shows a separate white grounding wire but most of the pictures I’ve seen of the Hopkins harness don’t seem to show that wire. The Curt doesn’t seem to have it. Do you know if the current version of the Hopkins still has that separate wire?

The main difference between the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56070 and the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 41157 is that the Curt harness is 7' long and comes with a one year warranty whereas the Hopkins harness is 10' long and comes with a three year warranty. The Hopkins harness also comes with dielectric grease which will prevent any corrosion on the pins. They both come with self-tapping screws and zip ties for installation.
Based on the above I recommend using the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 41157. I have attached a sample install video for you as well.
