The Tow Package Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 118251 can be easily removed from your 2011 Ford Escape by simply disconnecting the wiring harness. I've attached a photo of the location behind the bumper as well as a video to assist. Nothing further is required.
If you didn't have the factory tow package and want to remove the relays # TR38665 as well, you can easily do that too. I've attached a video of the installation of those relays to help with those locations. There is no major change to your factory wiring with that harness, so nothing else to remove.
