Can TopLine Fold Down Truck Bed Expander BX4004-02 Secure ATV in Toyota Tundra Bed  

Question:

In your expert opinion do you think this extender is stout enough to contain a Honda Rancher ATV in the back of a Toyota Tundra with 6.5foot long bed?

Expert Reply:

You can use the Curt # C57WR Universal Truck Bed Extender for your ATV on your 2016 Toyota Tundra but the expander does not substitute for the necessary tie-down straps and/or wheel chocks that will secure the ATV in the truck's bed. You can use the extender to contain the ATV but not to secure it to the truck.

You can use a kit such as Erickson # EM09160 to secure the ATV in the bed and the expander to help contain your other gear like gas cans, etc.
