Will Curt Echo Brake Controller Work on 2007 Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome with Air Brakes?
Question:
I have a 2007 Fleetwood Discovery on a Freightliner Chassis, I would like to use this product, but am unsure if air brakes play a factor in the function of the controller or not? Thanks.

The Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller - Wireless - Proportional # C51180 will work well on your 2007 Fleetwood Discovery and the air brakes will have zero impact on its function. It has an integrated inertia sensor to determine deceleration and apply the electric brakes on your trailer. The only thing to consider is Curt has not tested the Bluetooth connection distance to determine the compatible connection with your phone or tablet. This could be an issue with a Class A motorhome, however once connected, the only thing you may miss if the transmission distance is too long is the manual override button. The brake controller will keep the settings and still function as a proportional brake controller based on the last used brake intensity settings even without the connection to the other device.
I've attached a couple videos and the installation details to assist.
