The Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater - 120V - 2,000 Watts - 15 Amps # KH13200 is designed for a coolant system with a 41 to 60 quart capacity so it is not a fit for your vehicle. Your vehicle has a 21.75 quarts. The manufacturer states you cannot start your vehicle with that heater plugged so the remote start would not be okay anyway.
For your vehicle, the manufacturer recommends the Kat's Heaters Ether Start Fluid Injection System - 4.9L to 8.2L Engine - 12V - 18 oz - Automatic # KH33230 or the manual pull cable # KH33180. This will give you an effective smooth start even in cold weather. This system is designed to work with fast flash fuel can (not included).
The Kat's Heaters Thermostatically Controlled Circulating Tank Heater - 120V - 1,500 Watts # KH13150 they have listed for the 5.9L diesel, which may work for your system and is definitely more close to the capacity.
