There is one trailer hitch that fits your 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 wagon, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11701.
This is a Class I hitch with a 2,500 lb towing capacity and 250 lb tongue weight; it has a black powder coat finish to help protect it from corrosion and comes with a lifetime warranty. If you are going to be doing some towing you will need ball mount # C45521 along with Pin and Clip # F-4 and either 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # A-80 or 2" Hitch Ball # A-82.
For a wiring harness to power your trailer's lights the correct one that fits your wagon is Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. I have added links to some example installations of the hitch and harness for you to take a look at so you can get an idea of how they'll install on your '09 Mercedes.
