Are Any Bumper Modifications Needed to Install Curt Hitch # C15324 on 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV?
Question:
Last year I purchased this to install on my 2004 Escalade ESV. It now appears that I will need to cut away part of the plastic bumper to get it to fit. Am I correct in this? *Even pictures submitted by other users of this hitch on a 2004 Escalade look to have a plastic bumper cutout but states fits behind bumper.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2" # C15324 will not require any trimming or cutting to install. The installation is not difficult for this hitch and the bumper already is shaped in the hitch location. The only thing you need to do is lower and remove the spare tire and then reinstall after installation. I've attached the installation details to assist.
