Comparing etrailer.com 3,200-Watt Generator to Champion Generator

Question:

Also looking for a generator, your E/Trailer 3200/2900 watt with remote for $730 looks like a great unit and good price. Looks like its made by Firman which rates fairly well. Champion has a 3400/3100 watt that Im leaning towards but I dont think the extra 200 watts would make a great deal of difference. How do you think yours compares to the Champion?

The etrailer.com 3,200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 333-0003 that you referenced is an excellent option and you are correct regarding the manufacturer.

This particular unit compares very well to the Champion generator you're looking at. Like you mentioned the lower wattage (by 200) on the etrailer.com generator shouldn't be too much of an issue and there are a couple of features on the etrailer.com generator that are actually an improvement over the Champion model.

Doing some research on the Champion 3400/3100 generator it looks like it has a running time of 7.5 hours at 25 percent load. The etrailer.com # 333-0003 has a much longer running time of 9 hours. Looking at the noise level specs for the two units the etrailer.com generator is also slightly quieter. With those couple differences in mind along with the added convenience of the handheld remote, the etrailer.com Portable Generator is a great choice and I do recommend it over the Champion.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this generator that you can also check out.
