Could Buyers Products Backup Camera # 3378883020 Be Installed in Track Car

Question:

I need a rear view camera that is always on. I would use it in my track car lotus. I cannot see out of the back except through side view mirrors. The screen I have now is too small. I think is is 4-5 inches. Is the one your have in this add 7inch wide? Will it stay on the whole time. I would not need 60foot of cable

The screen size of the monitor on the Buyers Products RV Back-Up Camera System # 3378883020 that you referenced is 7 inches like you mentioned wanting and it can be wired so that it is on when the vehicle is on or with a switch if you'd prefer that. Some people wire it to the reverse light circuit so that it only comes on when the vehicle is in reverse. While the cable length that comes with this is 65 feet which is way more than you'd need but since the whole kit weighs less than 5 lbs it wouldn't add significant weight to have the extra wire coiled up and out of the way.
