Best Trailer Hitch for 2018 Honda CR-V That Does Not Require Cutting of Bumper Fascia
Question:
2018 Honda CRV - No Cutting of Bumper Fascia on Leased car? From the instructions, the video, and the pictures, it doesnt appear that cutting of the bumper fascia is required - as it is on the Class III hitches. Is this correct? This is an important issue for me, as mine is a leased vehicle and I am prohibited from making a permanent alteration, such as cutting away part of the bumper. Thanks

There is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver that will not require you to cut the bumper fascia on your 2018 Honda CR-V, the Draw-Tite # 76128.
The reason why is because the Draw-Tite models has a visible crosstube, as you can see by the accompanying photo of the Draw-Tite installed on a 2018 Honda CR-V.
Its counterpart from Curt, the Class III # C13397, has a hidden crosstube and cutting the bumper fascia is necessary so the receiver has a place to extend out from the bumper.
