The biggest difference between the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4185 and Air Lift 1000HD Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60818HD is the capacity of the Air Lift.

The Air Lift helper springs have a 2,100 lb load-leveling capacity compared to the 1,000 lb capacity of the Firestone springs which gives you more leeway when towing. The higher capacity of the Air Lift, along with the lifetime warranty they come with, are why I recommend them over the option from Firestone for your 2018 Ram 1500.

I do want to mention that the Air Lift 1000HD Air Helper Springs # AL60818HD will not fit an '18 Ram 1500 if the truck has factory air suspension, though if you are looking for air helper springs I'm guessing you don't have that.

The Air Lift springs inflate manually but you can make that process much easier with the use of the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25592 with its in-cab gauge and controller. The accompanying photo shows what this gauge looks like when installed, and I have also added a link to an install video of this compressor for you to check out.
