The Buyers Products Fabricators Hitch Plate # 3371809027A that you referenced is a universal fit hitch plate that has dimensions of 34-1/2" wide x 25-1/2" tall. If this would work well on your 1997 Freightliner FLD112 dimension-wise it would be a great choice. The # 3371809060A is for Ford trucks and most likely wouldn't be what you'd need.
We have quite a few different hitch plates with different dimensions that could work for you as well. I attached a link to a page that has all of them listed.
