Expert Reply:

A 50 amp power inlet like the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet part # A10-50INVP will use a four wire system (two hot, one ground, and one neutral) whereas a 30 amp power inlet like the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet part # 277-000137 will use a three wire system (one hot, one ground, and one neutral).

If you need a power cord to go from the inlet to shore power then I recommend using the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Extension w/ Finger Grip Handle part # A10-5010EH for 10', part # A10-5025EH for 25', or part # A10-5050EH for 50'.
