Availability of Plug-In Harness to Install Tekonsha Brake Controller on 2018 Toyota Tundra

Hi I currently have the Tekonsha Voyager controller. Is there a plug in cable available to install it on my new 2018 Tundra?

You can install your existing Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller # 39510 to your new 2018 Toyota Tundra, however there is not currently (November 2018) a plug-in harness available for this truck.

This simply means that to install the brake controller you will just need to hardware it to the factory wiring on your Tundra. We have found that there is not a stop light switch under the dash of your 2018 Tundra so you can tap into the third brake light circuit in the cab or the left tail light housing. This is where the red wire from the Voyager will connect. doI recommend using a circuit tester like # 40376 to verify the function of the factory wires.

On the Tekonsha Voyager the red wire is for the cold side of the brake light switch (wire on truck that ONLY receives power with brake pedal depressed), the blue wire is for brake output to the 7-Way, the black wire is for 12V power, and the white wire is for ground.
