Height and Width Spacing for Installing Steadyrack Bike Storage Wall Rack B-SCSR02-004
Question:
How far apart width would you install these to accommodate multiple bikes? Is one bike meant to lay on top of the bike next to it when you swivel it? Im trying to understand how far off the wall the bikes will be. Thanks.

When installing a number of the Steadyrack Bike Storage Racks # B-SCSR02-004 the correct spacing between the racks will depend to a great extent on the bikes themselves. If you refer to the photo (and video) that I linked you will see that the smaller bike's handlebar can fit through the frame opening of the larger bike. This is accomplished by staggering the heights of the racks.
For the most compact arrangement of racks on your wall you'll want to figure out your best arrangement of bikes (which bike fits best next to which other bike) and install the racks accordingly. That will guide you in terms of spacing between racks. It will be best to always load the bikes in their own respective racks.
Spacing from the wall when the racks are swiveled over depends mostly on the handlebar width since the handgrip will be the part of the bike that contacts the wall first.
