Question:
How do I charge my deep cycle battery with a generator? Can I run my furnace by itself with only the deep cycle battery and the generator turned off ?

You'd need to use a 12 volt charger like # 329-GENIUS5 plugged into your generator and then attached to your deep cycle battery. This will allow you to charge the battery pretty easily. Your generator should have more than one outlet so you could potentially run the furnace and the charger at the same time. Or if not you could use a multi-plug plugged into the single outlet.
