Tips for Rolling the Rear Crossmember on the B&W Turnoverball Over the Shock Mount on an F-350
Question:
Have the 1108 kit for f350. Rails wont roll over and pass my shock mount so i can slide it back and begin the process...

If you take a look at the attached install video we did of the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer part # BWGNRK1108 on a similar 2007 Ford F-350, you can see the rear crossmember rolled over the shock absorber mounting bracket at the 3:30 mark. Please note that the rear crossmember has three notches, one of which lines up with the shock absorber mounting bracket.
What we found is that if you grab the rail with a set of vice grips, it is easier to roll over the shock absorber mounting bracket. The driver side of the crossmember also needs to be pinned up against the underside of the bed while performing the above. It would also help if you have a friend to help hold the driver side of the crossmember. A large pry bar would surely get you over the shock absorber mounting bracket if all else fails.
Please note that this is one of the more challenging parts of the process. It is just going to take time and maneuvering but I certainly understand your frustration as it seems like it won't go at all.
