Compatibility of Stacked Receiver Ball Mounts with Weight Distribution Systems
Question:
This is has the pic from a You Tube video on Gen-Y hitch (B), my Equal-I-Zer WD hitch (C), and your 4 stack receiver (A). Do you sell the (B) Receiver? It looks to me like I will have to cut my hitch and drill a hole to use it on your stack receiver. Also, that increases the length of the receiver. The videos are of some help but I need answers to my questions--especially the tongue weight issue. A You Tube video shows a trailer too light for the hitch, with no benefit. THX for your help.

It looks like you want to add the torsion mounted ball mount to your 2018 Silverado and yet want to be able to keep you Equal-I-zer weight distribution system. The Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop/Rise - 16K # 325-GH-1224 will work very well with that setup. The stacked receivers are able to use any weight distribution system utilizing the ball mount just like a receiver tube.
If you want a stacked receiver without the torsion or at a different weight capacity, I've linked the page to all your options to assist. The Gen-Y stacked receiver ball mounts are all compatible with your Equal-I-zer weight distribution system as well as most other weight distribution systems.

The video transcript states: "And with this mount for an optimal ride, you want between 1,200 and 1,700 pounds of vertical load or tongue weight." My Airstream Data sheet says, "Hitch Weight: 791." Please explain how my 791 pounds of tongue weight works with the wanting between 1200 and 1700 of tongue weight. I am still trying to convince myself to buy your hitch. I found a video product review on a Gen-&Y hitch. It shows your product with a standard style bracket instead of the 4 slot stacked receiver. Is that available on your 325-GH-1024. Adding both receivers together seems unnecessary if a simpler set is available. THX
