The Skull LED Lighted Trailer Hitch Cover part # RP86523 as the name states is a lighted hitch cover, not a tail light assembly and will not work as such on your trailer. It is designed to be attached to a 1-1/4" or 2" trailer hitch receiver opening. The skull will have a low red illumination when the tail light are on and a high red illumination when the brake or turn light is activated.

If you wanted to somehow mount this on your trailer then you would need to remove the 4-way trailer connector and splice the wires directly into your tail lights with quick splice connectors like part # SWC501746-1.
