Trailer Wiring for a 2018 Dodge Durango GT
Question:
I have a 2018 Durango. I want the 76196 hitch because I have the cutout in the bumper and like that look. But what wiring is best for me? No towing package on the truck

I agree the Draw-Tite, part # DT38MR, is the best looking hitch available for your 2018 Dodge Durango.
If the trailer you're going to be towing has a 4-way connector then I recommend the Hopkins, part # HM11142214. The converter box mounts with two screws instead of one or just double sided tape like the other options. A lot of the times we see issues with wiring it's because the converter box took a hit from not being mounted well enough and damaged it. The extra screw will help eliminate this.
On the other hand if the trailer has a 7-way use part # TK22113 instead. Everything you need for a fully-functioning 7-way is included except for the brake controller itself. If you also need a brake controller I recommend the Prodigy P3, part # 90195, beause of how reliable and easy to set up it is.
I've linked some videos on each product for you. As well as some articles on towing you might find helpful.
