Installing a Trailer Hitch on a 2017 Kia Forte LX Sedan
Question:
Good Day, Where does this hitch mount to the vehicle, is there a video available to show installation of this hitch on a 2017 Kia Forte LX? Also, is there a removable wiring adapter for this car? Thank you,

The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24903 will mount to your vehicle on the side of the frame rails. There are existing holes with weldnuts already present. You will simply need a 17mm socket or wrench for installation. There are 4 bolts.
Unfortunately we don't have a video of this install, but I've attached the diagram of the installation to assist with the locations.
There is a wiring harness that is removable, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C53KR which will easily install to the factory wiring harness behind each of your tail lights.
If you will be doing light towing, you will also want a ball mount like # 3594 which is a confirmed fit only in the rise position. I recommend hitch ball # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
