Troubleshooting Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Not Activating Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes
Question:
I have the Carilsle hydraulic system on my trailer did the remote test and the unit works but when I try the unit brakes there is not enough volts to activate the trailer brakes. My unit in the truck is the TEKONSHA 90195, Do you have any suggestions as to why this is happening or any tests I might try

Sounds like you haven't put your Prodigy P3 part # 90195 into hydraulic mode so it's not able to activate your Carlisle Hydrastar braking sytem. First press the menu/options button.
Then, on the SETUP screen, scroll down to brake type and press OK when Hydraulic is highlighted. It will then ask you to confirm. At this point, in the lower left hand of the display, there should be an H, for Hydraulic.
This procedure is outlined on page 4 of the installation instructions, which I have linked for you in case you do not have them.
