You'll need to install a roof rack first on your 2012 Mazda 5, but yes, the Thule Motion XT part # TH629906 will fit on your vehicle. For a roof rack then we have the Thule Aeroblade Edge part numbers # TH7601-TH7602 and # THKIT3080 for if you have a naked roof or part numbers # RRVA118B-2 and # RRSX100 for if you have raised roof rails.
Both of these are great options for your vehicle that will provide you with aero shaped crossbars that will minimize wind noise.
