Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2005 Toyota Tacoma V6
Question:
do you have instructions for your BEST trans cooler installation specific for my truck? do i have to build mounts or drill holes to mount it? i am looking for a bolt and go design

Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so there are no specific instructions for vehicles. Our best cooler would be the one that is most efficient. Stacked plate coolers are the most efficient and a good option with an install kit is the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13614. I have included a link to a video review of the cooler for you.
Installation is actually fairly straight forward. I have included links to some FAQ articles and videos that will show you how a transmission cooler will be installed. You will not have to drill holes or build any mounts. The kit comes with fasteners that will hold the cooler in place.
