Cold Air Intake Recommendation for 2006 Chevy Silverado That Increases Sound of Engine
Question:
have a 06 Silverado 1500, looking to get a deeper sound out of my stock exhaust without upgrading the system. will this tip make a difference in sound?

The MagnaFlow exhaust tip part # MF35212 that you referenced is not going to make the exhaust any louder on your 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. It is basically an appearance modification. Since you don't way to change your exhaust setup another option would be a cold air intake like the Airaid CAD part # AR200-186. This removes the baffles or "mufflers" on the intake side of the motor that work to keep the sound of the engine down. It also will free up some extra horsepower as well.
