Replacement Hubs/Drums and Braking Assemblies for a Vintage Stidham Horse Trailer

Question:

Bought what the registration lists as homemade but what turns out to be an 1960-70s vintage Stidham 2 horse trailer. The brake drums are marked 10-200...are the AKHD-545-35-K / AKEBRK-35 the right replacements? If so, am I correct that rims should be 5-4 1/2? The previous owner was running Goodyear TA 255/60-15 on what appear to be 5 -5 1/2 rims 3.25 inch center to edge which is not even close. Yeah, hard to believe they even fit. Thanks in advance...

I was not able to reference the provided part number "10-200". Therefore, you have two options to find the correct replacement hubs/drums and braking assemblies. You can either A) find the serial number on the axle or B) measure the spots on the spindle where the bearings/seal ride and read the part numbers on the bearings themselves. I would also need to know the dimensions of your braking assemblies and what brake mounting flange you have. In regards to bolt pattern, there is not a direct correlation between wheel size and bolt pattern so you will also need to measure this.

I have attached a help article that explains both the process for measuring the bearings and bolt pattern for you.
