Bike Rack for a Fat Bike that Weighs 50 Pounds
Question:
Can the swagman 64650 carrier carry just one fat tire bike at 50 lbs if I utilize the 64674 fat tire trays ?

The single bike capacity of the Swagman XC # S64650 is still going to be 35 pounds but we have other racks with higher capacities for a single bike that could work for you. The RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 # RKY10007 can carry 1 bike up to 60 pounds with tires up to 5 inches wide. The similar RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack # RKY87RR for 1-1/4 inch or 2" hitches, has a capacity of 60 pounds and takes bikes with up to 5-inch-wide tires.
The Hollywood Racks TRS # HR3000 holds 2 bikes up to 50 pounds each and accepts tires up to 4-1/2 inches wide. The Yakima HoldUp EVO # Y02479 also holds 2 bikes up to 50 pounds each but this one accepts tires up to 5 inches wide.
We have a lot of racks that can hold fat bikes and I have included a link to them for you. Just be sure to check the capacity information in the specs to make sure a rack has a 50 pound or greater capacity.
