Will Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack part # Y07418 Leak Water

Question:

I plan on carrying a soft luggage case on them. I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 bare roof will the soft top wear the paint on my car i have a 1500 mile trip. And how bad do the straps cause a leak in the rain

We had one customer come back and tell us that in a heavy rain the fabric straps of the Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack part # Y07418 did allow some water to drip into the interior of the vehicle. Unfortunately there's no way to avoid that unless you'd be willing to install a roof rack like the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK318 which is a much more secure rack for your 2013 Chrysler 300 and will not leak.
