What Would be Easiest Way to Cut Power to Everchill Refrigerator For Storage

Question:

If I remove shorepower and have a 12 volt fridge, whats the best way to remove power to fridge. when I leave doors open for venting with the control wheels off the light stays on. is the only way to fix this is a battery shutoff or is there a better way to shut the power off to just the fridge when unplugged. like maybe a breaker instead?

I run the wiring of the Everchill Refrigerator for RVs # 324-000119 to a switch and then to the power source that way you could easily cut power to the fridge whenever you wanted to store it. The switch would just need to be able to handle at least 20 amps.
