I recommend the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top bike racks for your 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback. They're the best racks for vehicles that have a rear hatch and even more so for those that have a spoiler. They have a high-rise frame that helps keep the straps off of the vehicle's spoiler.

There's both a 2-bike version, part # HRF2, and a 3-bike version, part # HRF2-3. I've linked videos of both of them for you.
