If you have a 2014 Ram truck like the question you asked this from, then you will want to check Fuse F30. It is a 30-amp pink cartridge style fuse. If that fuse doesn't solve the issue, then you will want to unhook your trailer and check the 1 o'clock pin on your 7-way which is the 12V power using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. If that works, then you will want to check your ground connection at the Aux unit you are seeking to utilize to ensure it has a good clean ground that is metal to metal and free of corrosion or debris. If you still don't have power, you will need to trace that wire probing every few feet to check for a short circuit in the wire. If you find the wire has shorted, you can replace it with # 10-1-1 sold by the foot.
