Install Bracket Recommendation for SnowBear Plow on 2006 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

Hi, I have a snow bear electric lift snow plow purchased in 2003 that came off a 1995 Toyota Tacoma. I want to put it on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler using the SB397-010 brackets. Will these brackets work for the electric lift snow plow? My other questions is will the mounting holes from my old cross member line up with the new brackets for my jeep? I know the cross member is to long but I plan on cutting it to the right length and welding it? Thank you.

Expert Reply:

SnowBear plows either install to a vehicle with mounting brackets or a front hitch. Since it sounds like your plow uses brackets the correct kit for your 2006 Jeep Wrangler would be the part # SB397-010. If you needed a hitch though the correct hitch would be the # C31028 instead.
