Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Ford Focus ST Hatchback
Question:
2016 Ford Focus ST Will this hitch be able to pull a small 4’x8’ trailer with an ATV or motorcycle on the trailer? I don’t plan pulling both at the same time, just one or the other.

Expert Reply:
For your 2016 Ford Focus ST the Curt hitch part # C11431 is the correct fit. It has towing capacities of up to 2,000 lbs which would potentially be enough for your ATV/motorcycle trailer. You'd need to also verify that your vehicle has the towing capacity as well and you'd be good.
For trailer wiring you'd then also need the # 118674 and for a ball mount # C45521. For a 2 inch ball you'd then want the part # A-82 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball part # A-80.
