Installing SMI Stay-in-Play DUO Braking System SM99251 in 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL
Question:
I have a SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System on my 06 TJ. We are considering trading for a 2018 JL. I noticed the vacuum line is different on the JL. Do you carry a adapter or what do they use for the JL. Thanks.

My contact at SMI advised that the Stay-in-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 that you currently have installed in your 2006 Jeep TJ can be installed in the 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler by cutting the JL's 8mm hard plastic line and installing the SMI 3/8-inch vacuum hose. SMI recommends also using a worm clamp for a secure connection.
