The best option for your 17 foot 10 inch truck camper is the Camco UltraGuard Slide-In Camper Cover # CAM45770 which is designed to fit campers that are up to 18 feet.
This cover is made to protect campers that are in wet climates like yours; it has a triple-layered top panel which is made to endure both rain and snow. The cover also has zippers so if you do need to gain access to your camper as it is being stored you can do so.
