Can Valterra Folding Manual Stabilizer be Permanently Mounted to Trailer
Question:
I see it can be folding up in a bag when not in use. Could it also be mounted and unfolded in the opposite direction for permanent placement in the rear of a tear? Like, will it unfold and lay flat and if so what is the total look length of it foot to foot?

The Valterra Folding Manual Stabilizer # 020106 referenced in your question is designed for as needed use. The horizontal crossbar on the unit will simply wedge underneath the trailer frame and there is not a way to permanently mount it to the trailer without modifying the stabilizer. Because of this I cannot recommend mounting it your trailer as any modifications will void the manufacturer warranty and will likely affect the integrity of the unit.
As you mentioned, the stabilizer easily folds up for compact storage when not in use and the entire product only weighs about 7 pounds. This allows for a quick and easy setup each time you need to use the stabilizer.
