Recommended Ladder Rack with Cab Extension for 2018 Ford F-250

Can I add the Cantilever extension part to this rack and still maintain Cab clearance on a 2018 F250?

The Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH27000XTB is confirmed to fit your 2018 Ford F-250 and will work well. With that being said, when this particular ladder rack is installed on your Ford F-250, there is very little clearance between the crossbars and the truck cab. Because of this, I do not recommend adding the Cantilever Extension # TH24001XT as it's very possible that it will make contact with the roof of the cab, especially if any weight were put on it.

If you are wanting an over-the-cab extension, I recommend looking at the Thule TracRac Steel Rac Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH91000 instead, which won't have the same clearance issues. This will provide you with a 1,000 pound capacity ladder rack and a built-in cab extension for additional support.
