Most brake controllers such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 come with a wiring harness that has blunt cut wires on one end and a plug on the other end that goes to the controller. You will need to attach the blunt cut wires on the above harness to the blunt cut wires on your motorhome via butt connectors in order to install a brake controller. There is not a plug-in connector that installs on the end of the motorhome's blunt cut wires and then plugs into the brake controller.
If you haven't already selected a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 because it has integrated safeguards which will protect both the vehicle/trailer, storable settings that let you customize the controller for multiple trailers, and an easy to read/use LCD display. This is also our most popular brake controller.
I have attached a review video for you.
