Availability of 3,500 lb Dexter Axle without Hubs thats 95 inches Long
Question:
Have a 2004 pj trailers 518 , 2 axle car trailer with a bent spindle. I would like to only buy a bare axle, and use my hubs, and brakes. Is this possible? 3500lb, 95 x 80, cambered, w/elect brakes. PJ TRAILERS told me they only sell complete axle w/brakes, and hubs. PJ Trailers gave Me this replacement part numbers: Dexter 35550 E-ST-EZ 95x80 110162 Any info appreciated!

It's definetely possible to custom order an axle without hubs. Most trailer shops who can order Dexter axles wouldn't have a problem with this. I am actually a little surprised that where you went didn't offer you this. We actually have the exact axle you want as the part # 7359765 that you referenced. It's the correct dimensions and has brake flanges like you need too. This will fit your current hubs too.
