Troubleshooting 2008 Chevy Silverado Where Brake Output Circuit Isn't Active
Question:
I have replaced the relay and control module at left frame rail, recoded at dealer, still no power on brake pin. Can you help? Where to go from here? Already spent $700. no further ahead.. ONTARIO CANADA

Normally when installing a brake controller in a 2008 Chevy Silverado the trick is to make sure you made all of the connections under the hood of the truck. I attached a help article that covers all of that to this page for you to check out. I attached a picture that I took from this link that shows the most relevant section.
Other option is to hardwire the controller to your truck by running the blue wire from the controller back tot the 5:00 pin of your 7-way with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) which will bypass all of the headache.
